As one walks through the slums of Kibera, you can find laughing children, hard working people striving to make a dollar a day, motivated young people who want to put themselves through school, and a community spirit and the willingness to help each other. Kibera Pride hopes to use this strong foundation of the people on which to build a solid, structured vision. The organization strives to develop the kids and youths spiritually, mentally, morally, physically and economically to ensure they develop to their full potential in life within their current social-environment and beyond. This development cannot occur without mentoring, which is needed in these children's lives. We can only achieve this if we have passion to do it.
